The Curriculum & Global Pathways

STEAM & Interdisciplinary Focus

The educational program is grounded in an integrated STEAM system. This combines Florida state-adopted standards with inquiry-based, project-based, and applied learning experiences.

Global Readiness & Biliteracy Pathway

A distinguishing component of the program is its Global Readiness and Biliteracy Pathway, which culminates in eligibility for the Florida Seal of Biliteracy. Students engage in English-Spanish academic coursework and virtual global exchange experiences. These experiences include collaborative learning opportunities with partner universities in Colombia.

Experiential Learning & Community Anchors

Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS)

MODS provides pathways for high school students to apply for a paid Aviation Academy internship. Students also gain access to digital content, including the Save Our Seas Distinguished Speaker Series.
